You can't back-engineer expertise - it has to be earned.
Innotech began by marketing machinery complementary to the finishing-end – the goal being to reduce wire consumption from both customer-driven and environmental perspectives. Canvassing the industry, we found that existing wrapping and folding equipment often performed below the required standard to eliminate wires. This led us to research the best methods for wrapping, folding, tying, stacking and handling to preserve package integrity all the way to the customer. Our combined experience of over 80 years in operations was the foundation for this research.
Reduction of waste in packaging and reprocessing areas that originate
from the consumption of materials and unnecessary bale rejects is our
primary objective.
To achieve this goal, we formed an alliance with Northern Steel, a large
capacity fabricator based in Prince George with an excellent reputation
in the pulp industry. Their knowledge of manufacturing methods and cost
engineering and our process and equipment expertise is a powerful combination.

Rocky has extensive operational experience with 20 years in the
industry. He has been instrumental in designing job evaluation and
cost-tracking programs to build a solid business foundation. As
he coordinates the Innotech team, Rocky’s abilities to prioritise
and delegate effectively form the backbone of our success. He has
become invaluable to the Innotech family for monitoring our adherence
to the business plan and strategic objectives.
With
22 years in the industry, Les has earned extensive operational responsibility
and experience. He has watched the industry grow in some ways and
stagnate in others. This has become his primary motivation for contributing
to its growth and improvement. Les is focussed on exceeding the
expectations of our customers with innovative designs and excellent
support, and believes strongly that “good enough” is
not good enough for Innotech.
Vito has worked in the industry for 18 years in both production
and safety. He is an expert in computer systems, networking, and
digital video. Vito’s skills enable us to use emerging technologies
for communicating with and assisting our customers, and his web
savvy is key to developing our electronic quotations and support
documentation. His connections to the digital marketplace also enable
us to stay at the leading edge of an increasingly e-business world.
By
developing outstanding control strategies, upgrades, and equipment
for the pulp sector, Brian has directly improved the cost savings
and safety records of numerous pulp-mills throughout the province
of British Columbia. Through their collaborative approach, Brian
and the Innotech team have answered the industry’s need for
lasting and effective solutions to what are often chronic and widespread
challenges. His combination of experience in engineering and design,
electrical and mechanical systems, PLC’s and ladder logic,
and pulp production is rare in this industry.
