Pulp Baling Equipment
The pulp package has remained essentially the same for forty years,
with minor improvements in consistency and integrity. By auditing
competitor’s equipment and the properties of pulp, Innotech
defined critical operating principles that maximize package integrity
and minimize equipment wear. We have helped customers to improve
newly installed equipment beyond original design capability by retrofitting
these principles into their existing machinery.
Our equipment incorporates these advantages into intelligent designs
with breakthrough operating flexibility and capacities that no other
products can match.

Reprocessing
Innotech understands the ways in which pulp is both weak and strong.
With that knowledge, we can help pulp producers and end users get
the toughest possible package for shipping and storage, as well
as fully automated bale reprocessing. Single ended consumption products
such as glue, or glued paper straps are less environmentally responsible
than recyclable steel wire, and have trade offs in both cost and
package strength. The main problem with wire is the difficulty in
removing it, and Innotech has completely resolved this issue. Our
experience with the subtleties of how to consistently de-wire bales
gives us the ability to provide reliable automated reprocessing
at a fraction of the cost of our competitors.

Equipment Upgrades
If bale rejects are occurring at a rate of ten or more per day,
Innotech can evaluate the machines responsible and recommend either
replacement or upgrading. We often find that the machines need either
one of our standard upgrade kits, or a simple custom change. All
our upgrades bring performance to a level that is beyond the original
design, incorporating as many elements of our equipment as possible.
Our Control Strategy is an essential part of equipment upgrading,
and is sometimes all that is required. This strategy protects the
equipment from damage, eliminates bottlenecks, improves operator
safety, and the vital control interface. We have saved from four
to seven seconds per bale with control logic changes alone. If your
baling line is bottlenecking the process, we have many solutions
that will increase productivity with no side effects.
